On 9th and 10th March 2026, 21 NCC cadets from St. Peter’s Institute of Higher Education and Research (SPIHER) participated in the Unit Level Selection and practice conducted by 1 (TN) Signal Company NCC for IGC Thal Sainik Camp (TSC) – 2026. The cadets underwent preliminary training and assessment in Obstacle Training, Tent Pitching, Map Reading, and Firing under the supervision of PI Staff. The programme aimed to identify and shortlist eligible cadets for the next stage of the selection process. The participating cadets displayed enthusiasm, discipline, and teamwork during the practice sessions. Shortlisted cadets will undergo further training at Madras Christian College (MCC) Grounds from 16th to 18th March 2026.
