The Research Forum, constituted on 12.07.2018, is dedicated to promoting Research and Development in our Higher Education Institution. Its objectives include fostering awareness of innovative research concepts, encouraging a global outlook in research practices, and guiding the effective utilization of resources. The forum emphasizes identifying original research problems for patent filing, provides guidelines for organizing academic events such as conferences, seminars, workshops, and symposia, and encourages active participation in them. It also facilitates patent filing, supports the submission of funded project proposals such as the Fund for Improvement of S&T Infrastructure (FIST), and contributes to the enhancement of research facilities through SAIF-SPIHER. In addition, it promotes consultancy services, extension activities, and is committed to generating quality research output.

The Research Forum serves as a platform for deliberation and collaboration among campus researchers and with the wider academic fraternity. Functioning under two heads—faculty forum and scholars’ forum—it actively disseminates research-related information, organizes workshops, guest lectures, and discussions, and publishes perspectives on challenges and prospects in higher education. Faculty members are encouraged to apply for externally funded research projects, adopt plagiarism detection tools, and follow best practices in research methodologies, paper writing, and proposal preparation. Key initiatives include sharing MHRD policies, conducting insightful talks on the role of research in strengthening teaching, and evaluating research contributions of faculty members. Through these initiatives, the forum continuously works to strengthen the institution’s research ecosystem by initiating, collaborating, enhancing, and sustaining research quality.
