B.Sc Information Security and Digital Forensics
The Department of Computer Science at St. Peter’s Institute of Higher Education and Research offers a range of programs, including B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D., catering to various interests in computing. Students benefit from personalized faculty counseling (1:15–20 ratio), hands-on experience in state-of-the-art labs, and extracurricular engagement through NSS, YRC, and the student-led Digital Dreamers Club. Specialized programs in Cyber Security, Information Security, and Digital Forensics equip students for emerging challenges. With cutting-edge infrastructure and research opportunities, the department fosters both academic excellence and holistic development, preparing students for dynamic careers in computer science.

To encourage students to take up a career in Cyber Security.
To master broader concepts such as the responsible use of resources, the appropriate management of risks, and the alignment of information technology with the organization.
To provide quality education and training in specialized tools to the students to investigate, prevent and manage cyber-attacks.
To create awareness, extend education and prepare the base for further studies in the area of information security, digital forensics and cyber laws.
