Microbiology
The Department of Microbiology, established in 2016, aims to promote quality education by enhancing students’ practical skills and raising awareness of global advances in microbiology and research. It offers core subjects like General Microbiology, Agricultural and Environmental Microbiology, Medical Microbiology, Immunology, Microbial Genetics, and more.
The department includes labs for Microbiology, Immunology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and a fermentor room. Research focuses on molecular diagnostics, drug resistance, and Nanotechnology in antimicrobials. Students actively participate in activities such as Annual Sports Day, Journal Clubs, presentations, and field trips

Computer Science Engineering
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was started in the year 1993 with an initial intake of 60 students in the under graduate program. The department strives to achieve its vision by its highly qualified and dedicated team of faculty. To promote higher education, M.E (Computer Science and Engineering) and Ph.D., was started in the year 2008.
Computer Science and Engineering is leading the way in revolutionizing and making the current digital world a reality. The department is equipped with state-of-art computing facilities to impart practical exposure to the students in the recent advancements in the field of information technology.

PEO-1: Introduce advanced techniques and ideas required in developing area of Microbiology
PEO-2: Enhance the students’ ability to develop interdisciplinary knowledge.
PEO-3: Gain the knowledge of Microbiology through theory and practical
PEO-4: Understand and apply the knowledge of Microbiology for understanding the scientific phenomenon in the aspects of Microbiology
PEO-5: Understand and apply analytical techniques for evaluating the various
biochemical systems.
PEO-6: Understand good laboratory practices (GLP) and biosafety.
PEO-7: Develop research oriented skills.
PEO-8: Make aware and handle the sophisticated instruments/equipments.
