Admission Procedure

UG Programmes:
Admission to UG Engineering programs are based on the aggregate of 10 + 2 marks and the marks obtained by the applicant in the entrance examination conducted by SPIHER in the month of April 2018. Advertisement regarding admission and entrance examination will be given in leading national dailies and uploaded in the institute?s website. SPIHER Rank list is prepared based on the combined score of all the candidates and admission will be based on the rank secured.

Meritorious students will be provided with scholarships . The details are furnished below:

Eligibility:

A pass in +2 (or) its equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects recognized by any state/central board or any other accepted by SPIHER as equivalent to 10 + 2 its equivalent examination.

Student with diploma in Engineering / Technology are eligible for direct admission to the second year of the relevant B.E/B.Tech program as lateral entry category.

PG Programmes:

Admission to PG Engineering Courses will be made based on the score in the qualifying UG degree program and the marks obtained by the applicant in the entrance examination conducted by SPIHER in the month of April 2018. Advertisement regarding admission and entrance examination will be given in leading national dailies and uploaded in the institute?s website. SPIHER Rank list is prepared based on the combined score of all the candidates and admission will be based on the rank secured.

Candidates with good GATE score will be given preference in admission.

Eligibility:
A pass in the qualifying UG degree program.
